This past Sunday, May 24 we took a different look at Jesus’ miracle of feeding thousands of people on a side of a hill with only 5 loaves and 2 fish. Miraculous things can happen when we take what we have and put them into the hands of Jesus. I cannot wait to see how our church family responds to the opportunity to serve and bless our community as we participate in some upcoming opportunities in the coming months. One way we can respond this week is by helping to replenish the Heart for the Fatherless resource closet. Be sure to click the information below on how you can participate. Next month we look forward to sharing some ways we will be able to bless the Partridges in Germany with a coordinated initiative you will hear more about in the coming days. And I pray you and I would stay open and available to respond to needs that we each are made aware of as we move about our days. As the Lord leads, don’t be afraid to respond in faith and step into those divine moments. As we talked about on Sunday, Jesus always knows what He is doing now and what He is going to do next! And He loves involving you and me in those plans! Have a great week and I look forward to seeing you online!
A PIVOT IN OUR FOUR PHASE PLAN FOR ARAPAHO ROAD BAPTIST CHURCH
We continue to make preparations and considerations for the best ways to resume in person gatherings on our campus in the coming weeks. As our leadership continues to process and pray through options that will be the safest and wisest for our church family, please continue to pray for the Lord’s ongoing guidance. After receiving feedback and more information regarding our initial Road Map, the elders have made the decision to continue online options only throughout the month of June. We will continue monitoring data throughout the month of June and receiving input on the local, state, national and global fronts. We will communicate plans for July and following during the final week of June. If you would like to view this revised plan, please go to arapahoroad.org/roadplan.
Heart for the Fatherless Resource Closet Drive-Thru Donation Event – Saturday, May 30 from 11am-1pm
This coming Saturday, May 30 our church family will have the opportunity to take part in a special day of service to help replenish the Heart for the Fatherless foster and adoption resource closet. Please go to arapahoroad.org/heart for details on how you can participate.
As we seek to grow in our effective ways to communicate, connect and be in community as a church family, the Communion App that we launched recently is a great way to stay engaged. We are seeing an increase in prayer, connection and encouragement among our church family as we get more familiar and comfortable with this great and simple resource. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
